        No, but if you haven't gotten one and believe you deserve better pay then you certainly can ask. If you don't, you might get taken advantage of.

        Exactly what I was thinking! May I add: To parents sending their kids off for an education for a couple of hundred grand; do you want to pay these nitwits to form your kids?

    • DU has a fair annual raise and merit process, but the problem lies in how much they pay new employees.  Male new employees have always historically been paid significantly more than women.  DU would always say they have fair raise/merit process, but it was the starting pay that brings gross inequities.  I know from personal experience!
